This month we feature another vital member of our team. Meet Wari Varage, who hails from Central Province. Mrs Varage has been with the company for four years. Before joining Jets Tailoring, she was with Kokoda Tailoring and resigned to spend some time with her family. When she heard about the Jets Tailoring recruitment drive back in 2017, she quickly sent in her papers and was recruited on the spot.
She is part of a handful of sewists who are responsible for the production of all our products. Mrs Varage specialises in dress production, mainly wedding dresses, formal dress and shirt production.
Women who wish to take up sewing should do so as a side hustle. Currently, we have free sewing training to be held soon, so anyone who wishes to learn about sewing should apply, Mrs Varage said.
